OH BEE ASS! was really fun! =D and even though i have severe peeling hands and a scraped and itchy shin and a million sandfly bites and mozzie bites, PLUS the fact that everyone calls me a ban*** now (i like my tan, okay), i think obs was worth it! =D
day 1
i was kinda dreading going to school. left for punggol at like 8. then we sped off in a cosy speedboat cos we were the last few to leave the jetty. the splitting us into watches part was very scary sia! was very relieved that i had cheok (x we've camped together before so we're the ultimate camping kakis man! i'm in hillary! and instructor candy is very nice (x
the campsite. it looks like a factory leh. and they cheated us with all the nice photos during the obs briefing. damn them.
and this is the hillary store before we wrecked it up.
arghh anyway, we did kayaking lessons on the first day. was pretty fun, except for the fact that i scraped my friggin shin on the drop-off rock! the blood was trickling down into my shoe. =D haha but it wasn't that bad lar. the saltwater does wonders. AND i didn't lose my glasses =D like anh. poot.
our dinner. cooking in obs is much easier than cooking in guides. we get to use dry fuel and not twigs -_-; but the food in guides is much better. marshmallows and the damn roasted chicken! =D oh and tan men whatever is much nicer eaten like mamee. heh.
day 2
I DUNNO WHY THE BLOGGER PICTURE UPLOAD IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE. DAMN IT. I CAN'T POST ALL THE FUNNY PICTURES.
erm, we did the trust fall in the morning. gosh the instructor is the heaviest! i almost had whiplash man! haha but it's shiok falling down. and welcomed the princess to our watch after that. hurhur. you won't geddit, but hillary will. belaying after that was kinda sian. i forgot everything since p5. (x
had navigation after lunch to some horrible rescue mission with a stretcher. alpine rescue whatever. how unfitting since it's blarddy hot there. oh and my right shoe sole fell off in the jungle when we were walking there. heh. stoopid shoe.
the night walk was okay lar. i dunno why but walking in a group was scarier than walking by myself =/. we saw fireflies! they're so pretty (x and the two scholars are friggin funny lar. as in they kept trying to scare us in the dark. i went before cheok and made sure to walk real loud to scare whatever away. heehee.

day 3
rock climbing in the morning! we had to do the intermediate one cos the beginner one was way too crowded. so annoying. i could only cross the red line! heehee. so paiseh. and worse was my left shoe sole fell out while i was up there. heheh.
packed for the expedition later. the bag is damn heavy lah. it kinda sucked walking through the forest. a lot. was friggin tired man! and i wore shorts and didn't cover the scrape so it got erm, scraped by this stick. gross lah. was so happy when we reached (x
had rafting too but didn't get to launch the raft cos it wasn't stable enough. the quarry is god-sent! it's really refeshing and all (= didn't feel well after that so i didn't eat much for dinner )= had lotsa gas in my stomach so i tried to burp/fart but i couldn't! haha. slept nicely (= i didn't really hear music from jb leh. whoever said it was malaysian idol. haha. peeing on the rocks is alright i guess. lol. and sentry duty at 3 sucks.
day 4
sea ex! was very draining sia! but i think cheok and i rock at kayaking =D at least we didn't fight lar. heheh. the current was real strong and all. was so happy to stop at the island for lunch. took a pee in the sea. haha. oranges are nice =D okay whatever. reached camp 2 at around 4. i wore t-shirt and fbts! and i didn't get sunburnt! i have the thickest elephant hide. i like! haha. and i love my tan. =D
i think day 4 was the most fun! we had like 4 hours of free time so during dinner we were all on high! shuyi does the funnies igallop impersonation man. we camped at the beach so the view and the breeze was really nice. in the night me and cheok had supper on the beach. we ate muesli bars and oranges and ahem, chocolates. we went into the tent just before the instructors came to check. phew. oh and the tent was sloping down so i was practically rolling out of the tent. thank goodness for zips.
day 5
today was mostly keeping the store and all. WE DIDN'T LOSE ANYTHING! YAY! had a last stroll around the campsite with cheok and shuyi. shuyi is a funny girl. her favourite song is 'man-eater' or something. and we kept saying project runway's 'either you're EEN, or you're OUUT' in heidi klum's funny accent. we took pictures at the beach! shuyi's hp was perched on some boulder and i think we took pictures while the new instructors were coming from the jetty. oops. heh.
okay so we sat in a circle for the reflections thing. everyone had to say what they liked the most, what they learnt, blah blah. my answers were so singapore universe lah. i HAD to be politically correct right? but i really love hillary (x we rock. we really learnt how to work together and all. (x
bought stuff at the shop! arghh it's annoying that they don't have the right sizes. all are super big. ok anyway we were on high in the bus again. sat with shuyi and we were ooh-ing at the civilization. funny lar. oh and i have a pair of sandfly bites which looks like boobs. -_-;
reached at 2.15. at school we rushed to the bubble tea shop! i miss my bubble tea! tasted really good. grape green tea. heh. gave shuyi a lift, then went home to order kfc delivery. hehhh. i ate, and shitted a lot on friday. slept like a pig too. and haagen daz's strawberry cheesecake is the best! =D
arghh right now i'm missing obs!
it's really fun there (x now that i'm back there's homework, and school and all. damn it. heh. i miss secretly sms-ing in the night and all. next year we'll have the 7 day lumut one or the 9 day singapore one. heeh. i just wanna go kayaking lar.
