i am back from the i am chee bye attachment! i finally realized that imcb stands for institute of molecular and cell biology! and not what i just said. heh. it was fun (x and missing school makes it more fun! (x. there were lotsa other jcs there too. i thought we were gonna be the only ones but nooo. there was hcjc, acjc, rjc, ri, dhs, rgs, mjc, and i forgot. the i/c is some really gay dude. the mentors are nice anyway. heh. our mentor was called boon hunt. he's always so flustered and in a hurry. scientists are so eccentric. =/

we did lotsa cell stuff and micropippetting (= i hate microscopes cos my eyelashes block the view. and somehow my cells which were not supposed to be infected got infected =/. oh and i nicked a few eppendoff tubes to store my ear studs. SMART SIA! =D anyway the most fun time was lunch! lunch is normally 1.5 hrs. the first day we took the shuttle bus to eat crystal jade at holland v (x. the beef chilli la mian is good. but the next two days we just walked to the other building to have lunch(=. biopolis is so self-contained. got 7-11, bookshop, food, blah blah...

this is the lab where we worked! it's really wasteful cos we throw all the pippette tips away after each use. and we use the huge tips too (10ml) which are like 30cm =/ can you spot my purple pencil case which mellyxiong and zhixie gave to me on my bday? HEH.



we had to pair up with people from other schools (= i paired up with this girl from rjc. rjc people are nice (= uhh and my partner is so naughty..she pasted this tape to mr yamada, the scientist who is VERY difficult to understand coz he has a jap accent. heh. that's my beautiful handwriting.
